Blog
I am perpetually finding bargains that I am SOOOO excited about.
I am the woman who will always proudly divulge where I got my amazing purchase and how little it cost. That’s one of the things I’m going to blog about… my buzz-worthy “Busbee Style” bargains.
I’m also going to write about fashion and beauty trends. I pour over all of fashion forward magazines and the most important fashion websites so I can give you the scoop on the latest and greatest clothes and products.
I would love to hear from you! If you have an idea, thoughts or feedback for “Busbee Style”, email Erin at erin@BusbeeStyle.com

SOLE MATE
There are few things that have a profound impact in my life: My family, my closest friends, traveling to exotic places AND… amazing shoes!
For me, finding a pair that I not only love, but is also affordable, comfortable, and unique, is like finding a straight man that likes to shop---RARE! I discovered said shoes at DSW (www.dsw.com) recently (see photos).
The designer is No 704b., which I’m ashamed to admit I had never heard of, but will now never forget! They’re a gray, suede, sandal/bootie combo with side cutouts. There is also a zipper detail in the back and three buttons across the middle strap. They may sound over-stylized, but as you can see from the picture they are definitely not OTT. They are simply stunning.

TUMMY TUCK
For those of you who’ve had the pleasure of popping out a kid, you know full well it can wreak havoc on your bod! (My personal favorite is the post-nursing Magda-style saggy boobs).
Another post-natal treat: excess skin on your tummy. This stuff will no doubt require serious working out and/or lipo, neither of which I have time/money for right now and it’s already swimsuit season in Texas! So, if you’re like me (and several of my mommy friends) in a full-blown panic, take a deep breath. I found some swimsuits that will cinch and tuck, no exercise required. These simple, chic, more importantly slimming suits will get you through these tough tummy times.

NUDITY
At the moment I am waaaayyy obsessed with nudity. Well, nude shoes anyway. I know, I know, there are so many beautiful shoes out right now--- Platforms with geometric heels, embroidered wedges, sequined flats, bright, eye-catching pumps… how could I possibly be obsessed with nude? Well, blame it on my parents. I’m only 5’4” and in my opinion, nothing makes your legs look longer than a short dress or skirt and a pair of sky-high, nude heels!
Which pair is right for you?
SOLE SEEKER 1: Money is no object and you MUST get tall in a hurry because a) your date can see eye to eye with Shaq and/or b) you’re going to be surrounded by modely, glamazons (bitches!). If this is you, check out these 5 and 1/2 inchers by Casadei. They’re like platforms on steroids!
Just make sure you walk slowly and for God sakes don’t drink too much!

SOLE SEEKER 2: Budget conscious, fashionista who wants height, edge, affordability andcomfort. She oozes style no matter what the occasion and looks for classics with a twist. In “Project Runway” terms: More Mila, less Seth Aaron.
SOLE SEEKER 3: Mom who wants to look chic, but NEEDS comfort. She usually has a baby slung on one hip while chasing after a toddler, so she has to be able to move! These espadrilles are comfortable, cute and versatile. You can throw them on with just about anything… capris, skirts, dresses, shorts, even jeans. And, the price is right at 69 bucks.
Be sure to keep checking the Busbee Style blog.
My style obsessions change faster than Heidi Klum’s body bounces back after a baby :)
